WetJet has a few projects on major streaming platforms and even more available on SoundCloud. Following up with his latest single, “Cant Trip” which realeased in 2022, is “BitchYouCrazy” which is expected to drop very soon. This will be his first single of the year accompanied with a debut music video. WetJet and I got to sit down and talk about his blossoming career. Here’s what he had to say:

NASA: WetJet, thank you for pulling up brother. Glad to have you on Bad Habit. How you feeling?

WETJET: Thankful and honored to be here. But all in all, we good.

NASA: Your latest single, “Can’t Trip” released in 2022 correct. Do you have anything new coming out?

WETJET: I do actually. A single with my first video called “BitchYouCrazy”.

NASA: Yeah, looks like you let me get a sneak peak. I really fuck with it. It got a bit of that New Jersey flava to it. Perfecting timing since that’s whats poppin right now. You also got a 4 track EP called “Fightingtime, Vol. 1” Is that your only EP?

WETJET: Yes, as far as it being all my production, writing, and vocals. However, I have a few small ones on SoundCloud without my production.

NASA: How would you describe your avenue?

WETJET: It’s really hard to describe, it feels like the road less traveled if that makes any sense.

NASA: You dropped your first single “It’s Obvious” in 2020 on the major streaming platforms. Since then have you noticed growth and changes.

WETJET: I have definitely made leaps and bounds in not only the quality, but have found where my voice truly lies, unlike at the time.

NASA: That’s a good feeling. When you find “That Sweet Spot”. That’s what my and my producer call it. What city you reppin? Where do you live now?

WETJET: I’m from Tullahoma, Tennessee and currently live in Murfreesboro.

NASA: I aint gone hold you. I never heard of either of those. Haha. But that’s cool because you would be the first talent we feature from those cities. Would you say it’s easier or harder to make it in the morning industry these days? Compared to like 5 years ago?

WETJET: Way easier to be seen, heard, and discovered than it was in that era, way harder to make a lasting impact though.

NASA: Nicely put. What’s some of the challenges you face on the regular, on your path?

WETJET: Trying to be a better man. Not only for myself, but for anyone I love.

NASA: Why do you make music? What’s in it for you?

WETJET: A release that I can’t compare to any other feeling. Creating ANYTHING gives such an amazing high and boost in confidence.

NASA: What’s your Bad Habit?

WETJET: Too many to count brother.

NASA: Do you fuck with concerts or performances?

WETJET: Not necessarily, “post concert depression” is real and almost ruins some artists for me.

NASA: I’ll look that up because I never heard of that. What was the last concert you went to?

WETJET: Reluctantly, Jack Harlow.

NASA: On the flipside would you say that you draw inspiration from these performances?

WETJET: Indeed.

NASA: Do you perform?

WETJET: I have. Not as much as I need to.

NASA: Besides yourself, who else from you squad or city should we be tuned in to?

WETJET: Sean Terrace aka “Terrace!”, he’s a dear friend and collaborator that has made anything new I have coming even possible. If you check me out, gotta check him out.

NASA: Who’s a few artists that you would like to collaborate with?

WETJET: Top 3 would be Don Toliver, Carbon! and 070 Shake.

NASA: Yea shout out to Don, Houston’s very own. And yea, I really fuck with 070 Shake. Super slept on. What about producers?

WETJET: Mike Dean, Ludwig Van Gorranson, and Gessafelstein.

NASA: I’ll check them out. Any other knowledge you wanna drop on us before you slide?

WETJET: Not really, I’d just like to thank you for your time and having me on!

NASA: Thank you for pulling up! Can’t wait to see your growth.
